Erecting Our Dome

P1090640We have always dreamed of having our own dome, because domes are totally beautiful structures to have at an event. So recently we built ourselves a dome from PVC pipe, radiator hose, cable ties, gaff and some bolts.

We have always admired domes for their ability to bring people together, and to add a spark of geometry to our party environments. They are a lot of fun to erect with other people, and fast; this time the dome went up in 20 minutes!

The event was a free party in a local park in Sydney. The two bass heavy sound systems cranked well into the night. Thanks to all the sweet helpers and especially to Laura Spark who isn’t in the pictures because she was taking them! Legend.
